Refund Policy

For multi day/night tours: 

• A full refund is available if the cancellation is made at least 30 days before the arrival date.

• A 50% refund is available if the cancellation is made 22-29 days before the arrival date.

• No refund is available if the cancellation is made 21 days or less before the arrival date, or if the guest does not show up.

Deposits and Full Payment

For multi day/night tours: 

• At least 30 days before the arrival date - a 50% deposit on the Getaway price is required to secure Getaway date/s.

• At least 20 days before the arrival date - full payment of the balance due. 

Other conditions:

• Guests agree there is a certain level of physical effort required to complete activities included in the Getaway, activities such as bush walking and hiking .  Participants not willing, or unable, to undertake such physical effort will not be subject to refunds or reductions or compensation in the event of being unable to complete the Getaway or any part of it.

Getaway Cancellations

• Getaways maybe cancelled by the operator Groovy Getaways in the event of unforeseen circumstances, and will result in full refund of all deposits and booking payments. 

• Getaway cancellations will occur, but not limited to: forces of nature; event of fire hazards; electrical storms; flooding or any other potentially hazardous weather or other event.  Intermittent or occasional rain is not grounds for the cancellation of  Getaway.

About our guests

• All participants must be over 18 years of age at the Getway departure date. 

Guest responsibilities

• For self guided activities such as hiking, participants take all responsibility - including the non-provision of alcohol and safe practices during the full duration of the activity.
